Mary Allen Elementary

Welcome! As I begin my 32nd year in education and my eighth year as a principal, I continue to feel incredibly fortunate to do work that I love. My journey has included many years as both a classroom teacher and an assistant principal, and each experience has shaped the leader I am today. This year also marks my third year at our school, and I continue to be grateful for the opportunity to work and serve with this amazing team.

I believe every child deserves to be known, encouraged, and challenged to do their best. When we build strong relationships, make the most of every learning opportunity, and create lessons that are engaging and meaningful, students thrive. I also believe learning never stops. I try to learn something new every day, and I hope our students see that same curiosity and love of learning in all of us.

It is the people—our students, families, teachers, and staff—who make this such a special place, and it is truly a privilege to serve this community. Thank you for trusting us with your children. We don't take that responsibility lightly, and we are committed to helping every student learn, grow, and discover what they are capable of.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two sons. It is a privilege to work here, and I look forward to another wonderful year of learning and growing together.
